EXTENSION METHODS
VOLUME WEFT
Volume Weft sew in are machine made wefts. The wefts I use have 3 individual tier levels that have been machine sewn, or “tied”, together vertically to lay flat to the head. This method is durable, full coverage and ideal for thick hair but can be customizable for all densities! It's the fullest of all methods.
Maintenance: 4-6 weeks
Hair Lifespan: 7-12 months on avg.
TAPE INS
Tape in extensions are tabs of hair with a latex free medical grade adhesive. This will attach to the natural hair with a sandwich of two pieces or a single sided tab. The polyurethane adhesive at the base of the extension creates a durable, matte, strong coating and protects your natural hair with an easy removal. -These lay flattest to the head.
Maintenance: Reapplication 4-8 weeks
Hair Lifespan: 7-12 months on avg.
I-TIPS
I-tips are an individual strand by strand method. The extension is placed in a bead and attached to your natural hair giving a lot of mobility.
Maintenance: 4-6 weeks
Hair Lifespan: 9-12 months on avg.
K-TIPS
Keratin bonds are extension stands that are heat fused to your natural hair. K Tips are a blend of keratin, adhesive, and silicone to protect your hair in the extension. They are very light weight, and you will barley even feel them. You should feel a complete 360 degree mobility, are great for active or busy lifestyles and finer-medium density hair types.
Maintenance: Is not required
Hair Install Lifespan: 3-5 months on avg.
HAND TIED WEFT
Hand tied wefts are delicate and light weight wefts ideal for finer and medium densities. HTW are discrete, more lightweight at the roots/base and gives a very natural look, also laying flatter to the head. They are hand made by person not a machine, thus giving the name "hand-tied." HTW are very customizable and you barley even feel them.
